Reg 187 in the State of New York (For Agent Use Only)

Regulation 187 requires that producers in the state of New York act in the best interest of their clients. As a result, LIMRA and RegEd have created courses to equip you with the information needed to meet the obligations under the new law.

This training is mandatory and is available via any of the following (only one course is required):

- LIMRA (45 minute course)
- RegEd (1 hour course)
- RegEd CE (4 hour course. Eligible for continuing education credits)

Annuity carriers will be unable to accept your annuity business on or after 8/1/2019 if this training is incomplete.
